Martin van Bree developed over the years his own unique style.
This style is a combination and merging of flowers with a portrait. Martin baptized this style: ‘the Van Bree style’.
The portrait on the left is an example of his style, a combination of an orchid and HRH crown princes Sirindhorn of Thailand.
The Van Bree Style
On a sunny day Martin saw his wife’s image reflected in a window. In front of that window stood a vase with flowers. He saw both at the same time, their reflections merged together. This he found a magnificent combination, and focused his developing style to represent this from that day onwards.
